This article is for coaches at Lingo Live who have synced a google calendar to the Lingo Live platform and are managing their availability for specific days or times via their synced calendar.
This article applies for both all day and multiple day events, as well as individual events, but is directed towards all day events.
When you look at your google calendar, do you see any "all day" events on your calendar? (You can see the blue horizontal bars at the top of the calendar below that show a couple of multiple day events and a single all day event).
The default for google calendar is set to "free" for all day events.
If you have any of these events, check if they are marked as "busy" or "free."
If they're busy, then your calendar reads that as "unavailable" and the lingo live platform will show you as unavailable for the entire day. If they're free, they will not block your calendar availability.
To see if "busy" or "free" you can open the event as though you were going to edit it and look near the bottom of the text/dropdown fields for a briefcase icon - it will say either Free or Busy as a dropdown.
If these are marked as busy, they will block your available times on the Lingo Live calendar.
If they are free, but you want to block your calendar, you can mark them as "busy" and you will no longer show as available on the platform.
